I’ve been copying and reimagining the world around me on paper or canvas for as long as I can remember—as soon as someone handed me some crayons as a little girl, I was in my own world. It was my fun, my escape and sometimes a way of saying things on my heart that couldn’t be said out loud.  As I've grown, my work has evolved, too.  In all of the work, my hope is that the painting can be more than just décor.  As with other forms of creativity (like music, writing, cooking or fashion), the work product often reflects the state of mind and the heart of its artist. With each painting, I hope to learn or explore something new and then let the canvas tell a story about what I’ve learned.  My goal is that the art will not only bring color and light to a space, but perhaps also serve as a small point of connection to see beauty in our Creator’s world, in each other and in ourselves.  Thanks for visiting!  You can find more about the meaning of the name of this site here.
